The first one is the hydronic method flooring. It basically works by using water to radiate heat all over the home. This version can be quite expensive, but it is thought to be the most efficient of its kind. The second radiant flooring method is the use of electric floor mats. This type is the easiest flooring to install. Technically, it is one of the cheapest ways to radiate heat all over the place. However, since electricity can sometimes be a bit expensive, the operation cost of these mats can also be expensive in the long run.

Lastly, the third method is the air-heated flooring. It’s an affordable method, but then it is not recommended for residential use. The rationale for this is that, hot air tends to lose its heat quickly. Thus, the energy consumption of this is not efficient. This means you’d have to pay more on your electricity bill.

In essence, radiant flooring can be of a great help for those who get bothered by cold temperatures. This is true especially during the winter season. The flooring heats up the floor and radiates to the ceiling and eventually throughout the home. The good thing about this is that, it delivers the heat evenly around the room. Another good benefit of this is that, it can be beneficial for people with allergies. Since the system blows air, it tends to blow away the allergens and dust around the room.
